Centaur

£375.00

Made with stoneware crank clay press-moulded and hand modelled, this interpretation of a Centaur is decorated using blue porcelain slip, scratched into, thereby adding to the surface texture. The details formed on the surface are made more pronounced by using black underglaze to highlight them. Finally matt white crackled glaze is applied randomly.

Once all the firings are completed the piece is assembled with a threaded metal rod, nuts and large wooden base.
